PURPOSE:To rotate a developing device around a perpendicular axial core to easily change colors by forming an engagement part for locating in the position of perpendicular symmetric axial core and providing a part to be engaged for locating which can be engaged with the engagement part on the supporting member of a developing device. CONSTITUTION:A pair of developing units 20a and 20b providing at least a toner storage part 21 and a developing sleeve 24 are provided and also both units 20a and 20b are provided so that the developing sleeves 24 are in an axis symmetry with respect to an axial core perpendicular to a plane passing the axial core. And the engagement part for locating is formed in the position of perpendicular symmetric axial core and the part to be engaged for locating which can be engaged with the engagement part is provided on the supporting member 46 of the developing device 5 which is movably provided on the inside of an image forming device. Thus, the switching of colors can be possible with a simple operation without depending on only a large-scale photosensitive body drum.
