摘要 A regenerative heat exchanger for gas purification is described which has a moving storage compound. In order to achieve as small an overall volume as possible and temperature differences which are as small as possible, it is proposed that the regenerative heat exchanger consists of at least two shafts which are respectively connected at the top and bottom to a gas feed and gas discharge line and via one chamber each. The heat storage compound is subdivided into modules and can be moved cyclically by means of a conveying device. It is preferred for the regenerative heat exchanger to be used to heat up flue gas or to provide cooling in the case of desulphurisation and denitrification. It is provided, in addition, that the upper chamber is connected to a heat source and the lower chamber is constructed as a purification chamber. <IMAGE>
