PURPOSE:To obtain a low cost Doppler radar which is possible of mass-production, by forming two pieces of branch lines to the microslip line with a space of 1/8 wavelength and then attaching a mixer diode to each branch line. CONSTITUTION:A circuit consists of a microwave integrated circuit, and a signal supplied from an oscillator enters at the right side and goes out at the left side of the main line 14 their applied to the antenna, consequently the reflected wave enters at the left side. Two pieces of branch lines 15 and 16 are formed to the line 14 with a space of lambdag/8, and the mixer diodes 4 and 5 are attached at the tip of each branch line. The Doppler signal fD is extracted out of the terminals 9 and 10. Thus the circuit is very simple, and furthermore the circuits are all integrated on the same substrate the device of a small sized, low cost, and easy manufacturing are ensured. |
