A car stopper for parking a car having a parking block and a fixing bracket is provided to prevent the frequent damage occurrence caused when the contact surface of a car stopper and the surface of the earth are put under pressure by parking a car in the form of one side of a car stopper is pushed toward a wheel. A car stopper for parking a car includes a parking block(20), and a fixing bracket for fixing and supporting the parking block at the bottom of the parking block, wherein the parking block is formed in a lozenge shape to widen toward the lower part and provided with a curved incline formed on the front part, and many fixing bolt joints(22) formed on the curved incline to fix with the fixing bracket on the front part, so that a wheel moves backward along the curved incline and the vertical load of a car is applied on the car stopper to keep the parking block not to be pushed out, and the fixing bracket is coupled with the concrete surface by anchor bolts to support the parking block and provided with flat plates(31,33) formed on two sides and a hanging projection(32) formed in the center to support the parking block on the wide bottom stably and preliminary holes(35) formed on many spots to be coupled and fastened to the fixing bracket by a screw or an anchor bolt, so that if a fastener of one side is damaged, the parking block is coupled to the fixing bracket by moving into another hole.
