Visible panels for receiving forms containing patient information are used extensively, especially in hospitals. In order to enable clearly arranged storage of visible panels of this type, a piece of furniture in shelf or cabinet form is proposed which has receiving places, serving to accommodate the visible panels (8) and formed by guides (7) which run from the front of the piece of furniture obliquely upwards to its rear. The receiving places ensure problem-free insertability of the visible strips of data sheets filed in the visible panels (8). <IMAGE>
