The connector (11) fixed to the back of the heater (15) incorporates a pair of terminal elements (2) in contact with electrodes (15a) in a space (3) within its housing (1). The space (3) is filled with silicone, rubber or similar material (4). A pair of connection pins (2c) project from a portion (1d) of the housing enclosed by a wall (1c). A groove (1a) runs around the periphery of the space (3) on the underside of the housing (1) so as to trap the packing material (4) as it flows betweeen the housing and the back of the heater (15) during the filling process. USE/ADVANTAGE - With door-mounted mirror or wing mirror. Packing is secured against escape of material from connector housing, which can be reduced in size or mfd. with thinner walls.
