The apparatus records video and audio signal automatically addressed to be synchronized to each other, to record still video and high-fidelity audio signal locked to the still video. It includes A/D converters (1,2) for A/D converting audio (Au) and video (Vi) signal, a frame memory (3) for storing one-frame video data from the A/D converter (2), a digital signal processor (5) for composing the audio data from the A/D converter (1) and the video data from the frame memory (3), and an automatically addressing section (4) for controlling the read addresses of R,G,B from the frame memory (3) to be applied to the digital signal processor (5).
