PURPOSE:To output the detection result of radioactive contamination for various subjects in precise conformation to each part of the subjects. CONSTITUTION:A body surface monitor for detecting the radioactive contamination of a subject by use of a plurality of detectors has the detectors laminated in height direction, a top position measuring means 21 for measuring the position of the top part of the subject when the subject is set in a determined measuring position and transmitting the top part position signal, and a subject part specifying means 22 for specifying each part of the subject from the top part position signal and the position of each detector which can be preliminarily known. The contaminated position signal of the subject specified by the specifying means 22 or the radioactive contamination signal corresponding to the contaminated part is outputted.
