A fan testing method and device. The method comprises: encoding slot numbers of a plurality of fans to be tested; grouping, according to a preset rule, codes generated after encoding the slot numbers; establishing an association relationship between a group number of codes of the slot numbers and a physical layout; and determining, according to the association relationship, test statuses corresponding to the plurality of fans. The device and method resolve a problem of heavy and complex workload during a smart fan test. |
