<p>The process, particularly useful in blood oxygenators, whereby a differential velocity between a fluid and a diffusing surface of hollow tubes (51) by a rotating member (81) such that the boundary layer is perturbed enhancing the coefficient of mass and thermal transfer. The differential velocity is achieved by rotating hollow tubes (51) containing one fluid in a second fluid, or by apposing a rotating member to the surface of the stationary hollow tubes.</p> |
