The high-speed deck for a tape recorder includes a reel gear having a plurality of protrusions on the its circumference and receiving a force for rotating a reel base, a resilient member installed between protrusions formed on the bottom of a reel disk and opposing the protrusions of the feel gear, and a flat disk in which slots are formed on the its circumference, thereby stabilizing the conveyange of tape.
