<p>The present invention relates to a method and a device for destruction of explosives-filled objects or bodies (g, G) such as shells and other types of warheads, propellant charges, hand grenades, anti-personnel mines etc. in that these, while they are in a state of free fall through a bursting chamber, are initiated to detonation from a distance within the bursting chamber by an energetic radiation such as a pulsed high-power laser (31) or a projectile, or alternatively via a delayed-action charge before being fed into the bursting chamber, whereafter explosive gases formed in such operation are removed from the bursting chamber.</p> |
