<p>A device for the local delivery (10) of a substance into a natural tissue conduit in the mammalian body, having a first element (4) capable of contacting the lumen of the conduit and a second element (24) which overlays the first element, a reservoir (20) being formed between the first element (4) and the second element (24), the interior of the reservoir (20) being capable of fluid communication with the conduit (2) such that a substance placed in the reservoir (20) is delivered into the conduit (2). Also provided are methods of locally delivering a substance into a natural tissue conduit (2) in the mammalian body utilizing the device (10) of the present invention.</p> |
