PURPOSE:To provide an optical connector switching device capable of correcting a position in the case of coupling by using a positioning auxiliary member. CONSTITUTION:The vertically and horizontally positioning auxiliary members 9 and an initial positioning member 11 are fixed into the end of a moving base 8. First, an optical connector 4 on a moving side is in a state where one optical, connector 2 on a fixed side is selected to be faced. When the moving base 8 advances, the members 9 grasp the connector 2 so as to perform positioning. Then, an optical connector driving member 15 on a moving side is driven, and the optical connector 4 advances while it is pressed by a pressing bar 13, so that the coupling of the connector 4 with the connector 2 progresses. Before completing the coupling of the optical connector 4 with the optical connector 2, the initial positioning pin 10 of the optical connector 4 comes off from the initial positioning hole 12 of the member 11. |
