Feed arrangement for insertion of lock tongue in seat belt lock

Feed arrangement in which the feed element is made as a pneumatic roll spring (6,7) secured to the lock tongue (5) of the seat belt section (3). The spring is connected to the power source by a pneumatic pipe (9) arranged inside the lap belt (8). On being subject to pneumatic pressure the free end of the spring unrolls moving the tongue to a position suitable for the occupant to insert in the belt lock. On releasing the pressure the spring automatically coils up into a space-saving spiral on the lock tongue.
