PURPOSE:To provide a processing method for a printing plate effective in preventing the deterioration of a developer and diminishing sludge by putting mono-, di- or trialkanolamine coated with an alkali-proof film in a processing soln. and specifying the pore diameter of the alkali-proof film. CONSTITUTION:Mono-, di- or trialkanolamine coated with an alkali-proof film is put in a processing soln. to restore the processing soln. exhausted by air. The alkali-proof film is, e.g. the film of arom. polyamide, polyolefin, polysulfone, polyimide, fluororesin, polypropylene, crosslinked aramide, a perfluorinated polymer or polyether sulfone, preferably a film of polyimide, polyether sulfone or arom. polyamide. The pref. pore diameter of the alkali-proof film is 10<-4>-10<-8>mum, especially 10<-4>-10<-6>mum. |
