An aircraft rotor arrangement comprising a blade set (1) having a number of rotor blades (2) in substantially coaxial location with at least the same number of cross-over members, for example a set of contra-rotatable blades (5). The rotor blades (2) and the cross over members (4, 5) are angled in the plane of rotation of the blades relative to a radius such that in rotation the blades (2) cross the members (5) in scissor fashion.
