PURPOSE: To install a bearing in a stern tube surely by an adequate feeding head effect by controlling the precedent curing of a resin in a feeding head tube. CONSTITUTION: A fluid self-heat generation type thermosetting resin (epoxy resin) 2 is packed into a gap (a) between the inner wall surface of a stern tube 1 and a bearing 3. In order to delay the curing of a resin 2a in a feeding head tube B connected with the gap (a) until the curing of the resin 2, the resin 2a is cooled. In this way, the precedent curing of the resin 2a in the feeding head tube is controlled so that the resin 2 in the gap (a) can be cured properly without generating a defective part such as an air bank by the feeding head effect.
