PURPOSE: To make driving force decrease control possible even in the case of a failure which occurs in a throttle opening sensor or the like by determining whether to execute driving force decrease control by the set value at the time of judging deceleration made larger than that at the time of judging acceleration. CONSTITUTION: A controller 50 executes a specified control program upon the input of wheel speed VFL, VFR, VRL, VRR from wheel speed sensors 52FL, 52FR, 52RL, 52RR, engine speed Ne from an engine rotation sensor 54, the openingθof an auxiliary throttle valve from a throttle valve sensor 58, a P-range signal Fp and an N-range signal Fn from a position sensor 62, a signal Fb from a brake switch 64, and the like. The throttle opening of the auxiliary throttle valve 16 provided separately from a main throttle valve 14 is thereby adjusted to perform driving force decrease control.
