<p>PURPOSE: To provide an electrostatic image developer and an image forming method that can obtain high quality images through excellent charge maintainability without generating the lowering of image density, the fog of a background part, and the like even under long-term use and can display separating ability at the lower temperature while being excellent in offset resistance and powder fluidity so as not to generate a blocking phenomenon. CONSTITUTION: An electrostatic image developer is formed of toner containing binding resin, a colorant and a lubricant, and a magnetic powder dispersed carrier formed by dispersing the fine powder of magnetic substance in resin. The lubricant is polyethylene group wax formed by graft-denaturing a polyethylene polymer selected from an ethylene homopolymer obtained by polymerization under the presence of a metallocene group catalyst, and a copolymer of ethylene andα-olefin of 3-10 in the number of carbon, by styrene group monomer and/or unsaturated carboxylic acid group monomer. This developer is used in an electrophotographic image forming method with a brush or blade cleaning system.</p> |
