PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively operate the mashing effect of a mixer by destructing and fragmenting enclosing in the supply unit and a compressing unit of a screw to expedite the melting in a metering unit, and supplying it with a suitable viscosity to the mixer. SOLUTION: A screw element having an intermediate mixing element 12b and an end mixing element 12a is disposed in the metering unit 12 of a screw for a molding machine. The upstream side of the intermediate element is formed of a deep groove type flighted screw, and the downstream side of the intermediate element is formed of a shallow groove type flighted screw.
