Process for the continuous preparation of cyclohexene by partial hydrogénation of benzene

A process for the continuous production of cyclohexene through the partial hydrogenation of benzene with hydrogen in the presence of water and a ruthenium catalyst at high temperature and pressure. The benzene is delivered to the process in gas form and the cyclohexene is discharged from the process in gaseous form. The catalyst is dissolved or suspended in a fluid aqueous phase.
