Hydraulic brake system with traction control (TRC), ABS and vehicle stability control (VSC)
摘要
The wheel brake cylinders are linked to the hydraulic system by control valves (26) which have sliders to move between two modes of control; to connect the wheel cylinders to a low pressure supply or to connect them to the high pressure supply. The sliders are moved by hydraulic pressure and require no costly servo motors. The hydraulic pressures used are the pressures in the wheel brake cylinder and that from the master cylinder. A third mode of control reduces the pressure acting on the control valves from the master cylinder. This mode is controlled by a solenoid valve.
