Disclosed is a multi-layer optical writer and manufacturing method thereof. The writer comprises a transparent substrate, the 1st reflective layer, an adhesive layer and the 2nd reflective layer. In the transparent substrate, the 1st light information is stored at a write surface confronted with the light incidence surface. The 1st reflective layer is formed on the write surface of the transparent substrate. A portion of incident light penetrates through the 1st reflective layer, and the other portion of incident light reflects from the 1st reflective layer. The adhesive layer is adhered to edge area of the transparent substrate, so that 2nd light information is stored at surface confronted with the adhered surface in the adhesive layer. The 2nd reflective layer is formed on writing surface of the adhesive layer. Thereby, because the adhesive layer is around the 1st reflective layer, the 1st reflective layer is securely attached to the transparent substrate. |
