Fire resistant adaptation for doorframes for installation of new fire doors in industrial buildings

There are three sections (10) which are fixed to the uprights and the upper cross piece (1) of the frame by fitting in the rebates formed by the frame. Each section has two walls at right angles (10a, 10b) which define a rebate adapted to the size of the new door (5). One of these sections has lugs (11) which can be positioned to adjust the distance between the section and the existing doorframe. Wedges (12) may also be inserted between the two frames. Each section (10) has a front wall (10c) at right angles to the wall (10a). The front wall has an extension which is folded back (10d) which is attached to a flat bar (13). A trim covers and hides the sections (10) attached to the door frame and fire resistant materials can be inserted in it.
