FIELD: metal working in machine engineering, namely broaching in broaching machine tools. SUBSTANCE: chuck for gripping broaches includes bushing arranged on body of chuck and spring-loaded in axial direction, fixing member joined with bushing and sleeve secured to body and provided with slits on its end. Bushing is split one and it passes through said slits. Fixing member is in the form of cylindrical collet whose end surfaces are provided with slits arranged by staggered fashion. Collet is arranged inside bushing with possibility of engaging by its end surfaces with body and sleeve. Bushing has double step inner surface. Its large diameter corresponds to outer diameter of unclamped collet and its small diameter corresponds to diameter of clamped collet. EFFECT: improved design. 3 dwgs
