<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a printing ink binder which is improved in adhesion to various plastic films and adaptability to both laminating and boiling by incorporating a mixture of a specific modified chlorinated PP and polyurethane resin as a main component. CONSTITUTION:The title binder contains as a main component a mixture of a modified chlorinated PP, which is obtained by reacting a monomer having one ethylenically unsaturated bond and one or more tertiary amino or quaternary ammonium salt groups in each molecule (e.g. N, N-dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate) with chlorinated PP in the presence of a radical initiator (e.g. benzoyl peroxide), with a urethane resin, e.g. a resin obtained by reacting a polyesterdiol obtained from adipic acid and 1, 6-hexanediol with isophorone diisocyanate to form a prepolymer, and reacting this prepolymer with isophoronediamine and di-n-butylamine.</p> |
