PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover the optical output when the light output of a laser diode excitation solid-state laser is lowered in a method and a device for controlling laser driving. SOLUTION: When the light output of a laser is lowered, a selection means 47 selects an ACC circuit 36 upon reception of a command from a command means 47. At this time, a controller 45 sets a reference value R2 so that a current value in a semiconductor laser 11 may be equaivalent to the latest current value therein. Next, while the temperature of the laser 11 and condenser 12 is changed slightly, a reference temperature T1m where an output signal S1 becomes maximum is searched and it is set in a temperature control means 42. Then, while the temperature of the laser resonator is changed slightlly a reference temperature T2m where the output signal S1 becomes maximum is searched and it is set in a temperature control means 43. Further, the selection means 47 selects an APC circuit 34. At this time, the controller 45 sets a reference value R1 so that the output signal S1 may be equaivalent to a value just before the APC circuit 34 is selected. |
