PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive power supply device for an electrolytic water maker capable of continuously and variably controlling the pH valve of electrolytic water and also reduced in the number of parts. SOLUTION: The pulsating current subjected to full wave rectification by the rectifier 3 of a control transformer 2 outputs the pulses corresponding to operation characteristics at every zero cross by a switch 4. That is, if commercial frequency is 50Hz, pulses of about width 1μm/s are outputted at very 10μm/s to be inputted to a first one-short multivibrator 5. The multivibrator 5 triggers the down edges of the above-mentioned pulses to output one-shot pulses having a time constant prescribed by resistors R1 , R2 and a condenser C1 . The resistor R2 is a resistor made variable by the output of a control means 10. Therefore, the resistance thereof is varied from the max. value to the min. value as the output of the control means and the width of one-shot pulses is varied by the resistor R2 .
