PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an etched face excellent in adhesiveness to rubber on the surface of a molding product regardless of the presence of fluororubber, by impregnating an etching solution into the surface of the molding product of a fluororesin and cleaning the molding product with a nonketotic solvent. SOLUTION: (B) An etching solution such as a Na/naphthalene complex solution or Na/liquid ammonia is impregnated into (A) the surface of the molding product of a fluororesin containing preferably a fluororubber and the surface impregnated with the component B is (C) a nonketotic solvent such as an alcohol, for example, ethanol, methanol or isopropyl alcohol or water. A rubber elastic layer 2 composed of a silicone rubber or a fluororubber is formed on a core shaft 1 of a roller made of a metal such as aluminum or iron and a surface modifying fluororesin tube 3 treated by the above-mentioned treatment is bonded to the rubber elastic tube to give a roller using the fluororesin tube.
