PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To bend elastically vertically to a lengthwise axis by arranging openings that reduce the moment of bending resistance on a wall of a slender element so that the moment of element twisting resistance may not change. SOLUTION: A slot 6 having a width B is provided on the wall 4 of an element 2. The slot 6 is extended transversely in the element 2 and leaves an area 8 of the element 2 near the edge. The area 8 is formed by cutting the transverse cross section. A prescribed distance is provided between the slots 6. Each slot 6 is formed in a shifted state by about 90 deg. degrees from the lengthwise axis of a tube. At such time, the distance A between the slots 6 is made 5-40% of the outer diameter D of the tube. The width B is 20-80% of the distance A and the angle between the slots 6 is made 20 deg.-180 deg., thereby element bending is made possible.
