<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the sensitivity of a sensor and prevent degradation of steering feeling by improving jointing strength in the drawing direction of a torsion bar, in the jointing structure, jointing method, and jointing device of the torsion bar in a torque sensor for power steering device. SOLUTION: This jointing structure of a torsion bar 5 in a torque sensor for power steering device is so constructed that a press-in part to the press-in hole 7 of the output shaft 4 of the torsion bar 5 may be formed into a straight serration part 5a, a rear end part 5b may be pressed-in deeper than the formation surface 10 of the press-in hole 7 when the serration 5a is pressed in the press-in hole 7 of the output shaft 4, the surrounding part of the opening part of the press-in hole 7 may be caulked, and a wall 23 at the caulked part may be built over the rear end part 5b of the serration part 5a, in the jointing structure of the torsion bar 5 in the torque sensor for power steering device.</p> |
