The dog gate comprises a fixed detachable gate (1) anchored in the ground (S). A leaf (2) pivots around a spindle on a fencing post (P) between a closed position where the leaf end rests against the length of the fixed detachable part and an open position. The feet and the base have mating male and female parts enabling them to be locked together and uncoupled by relative movement of the fixed part on the base.
