<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card processor which can miniaturize the device without increasing the cost and can reduce the time for processing, a ticket issuing machine equipped with this card processor and a card processing method applied to these. SOLUTION: In issuing a transfer passenger ticket, after a magnetic head 12 reads information of a commutation ticket section from the commutation ticket charged from a card port 212, the commutation ticket is temporarily held by a holding mechanism 111 at a first stop position P1. This first stop position P1 is provided near the card port 212 on a main carrier path 103. When a prepaid card is used for fare adjustment of a transfer section, holding of the commutation ticket is released at a timing in which the prepaid is charged to the card port 212. The prepaid card charged after the held commutation ticket is subjected to each processing at need while it is being carried on the main carrier path at the same time at a specified interval from the commutation ticket.</p> |
