PURPOSE: A punching press is provided to set a plurality of tools to each of punching members, so that more tools can be set. Also, the punching press is provided to make the change of tools quickly while each of punching members to which a plurality of tools are set rotates together with a lower spindle, so that punching work is carried out more quickly and continuously. CONSTITUTION: A punching press in which an upper turret and a lower turret are separated with a predetermined interval and rotated about an axis of which position is different with the other axis; a punching insert hole of the upper turret and a die insert hole of the lower turret are aligned with a coaxial line at a punching position; and a punching member engaged with the punching insert hole rotates along the upper turret and then selectively engages with a spindle at a punching position, and punches work piece material laid on an upper surface of a die member engaged with the die insert hole of the lower turret while reciprocates upwardly and downwardly together with the spindle, is characterized in that the punching member(600) is provided with a plurality of tools(610), in which a punching selection member(670) is mounted to select a desired tool(610) of the plurality of tools(610) and then to perform the punching work; a position of respective tools(610) is regulated by rotation of punching member(600) by means of a device(40) for rotating a spindle; and a die member(700) having a plurality dies(710) corresponding to the tools(610), the positions of the dies(710) being regulated such that the dies(710) rotating simultaneously with the punching member(600) by means of a rotating device(83) and corresponding to a tool(610) required to punch can move toward a punching position.
