PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processor capable of easily discriminating the illegal installation of software in a computer system. SOLUTION: A PC 1 produces and stores an ID corresponding to software on the basis of a software authentication key inputted when the software is installed. And it includes the software ID in an enquiry request signal called a multiple address packet, transmits it to the other PCs 1 connected to a LAN 100 when the software is started, recognizes whether or not illegal installation is performed on the basis of a response signal received from the other PCs 1 and discriminates whether or not to start the software. |
