摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently process a vehicle passing through a tollgate by switching the toll collecting system of respective tollgate lanes to a prescribed lane system in accordance with the ratio of the total passing number of vehicles in a tollgate and the passing number of ETC vehicles. SOLUTION: A system can previously be switched to the conventional system of only conventional lanes, a mix system having mix lanes that can realize manual/automatic toll collection and a private system having private lines realizing only automatic toll collection. ETC vehicles and non-ETC vehicles, which pass through the receptive lanes of a tollgate, are detected in vehicle passage detection means 6 and 13 and a counter memory 22 counts them. Lane switch means 25 and 23 obtains the ratio of the total passing number of vehicles and the passing number of ETC vehicles based on a vehicle detection result and the system is switched to the conventional system, the mix system and the private system in accordance with the toll.</p>
