PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the swallowing quantity of a surface-shaped member such as glass in size as a member for fire prevention, using the main rib of a sash by a channel material by inserting the end section of the surface-shaped member on the opposed side to the channel material arranged at the upper edge section of an opening section, to which the surface-shaped member is fitted, into the channel material. SOLUTION: Wired glass (a surface-shaped member) 35 is fitted to a window (an opening section) 31 formed to a sliding door 1 for fire prevention. The main ribs 32, 42 of sashes in which opening ends are formed of channel materials towards glass 35 are arranged at the upper-lower edges of the window 31 at that time, and beads 33, 34, 43, 44 are disposed on both sides of glass 35. Backup materials 36, 37, 46, 47 are installed among glass 35 and the beads 33, 34 and the beads 43, 44 so as to close these openings respectively, the upper section 35A and lower section of the wired glass 35 are inserted into the main rib 32 of the sash, and the swallowing quantity L1 of glass 35 at the upper edge of the window 31 is made larger than that L2 at the lower edge of the window 31.
