PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve engine cooling efficiency and outfit freedom degree by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: An engine 1 is arranged in a position opposing each bank 1a, 1b to a radiator 2, return passages 9a, 9b of cooling water discharged from water jackets 5a, 5b of each bank 1a, 1b are respectively independently connected with no confluence in the halfway to communicate with the radiator 2. In this way, the return passages 9a, 9b from each bank 1a, 1b can communicate with the radiator 2 by a short passage length with no complicated curve, space saving can be attained by reducing an exclusively provided space by the return passages 9a, 9b, an outfit freedom degree of various mounted equipment in a room of vehicle or the like can be improved, and cooling efficiency of the engine 1 can be improved by reducing passing water resistance of cooling water flowing in the return passages 9a, 9b.
