PURPOSE: To obtain a liquid crystal display device with a touch panel which eliminates an input error and input impossibility and is highly reliable. CONSTITUTION: An upper substrate 4A made of soft films having upper resistance films 51 and a lower substrate made of a hard plate having a lower resistance film are stuck together, and either the upper resistance films 51 or the lower resistance film in a touch panel obtaining a detection output obtained by defining the contact position of the films 51 and the lower resistance film as two-dimensional coordinate values is formed in a comb shape made of many thin resistance films having a common connecting part 41 at one end.
