PURPOSE: A temperature keeping apparatus is provided to smoothly restart an equipment after long term stoppage by keeping uniform temperature of oil or grease supplied to a bearing. CONSTITUTION: A temperature keeping apparatus comprises a cylindrical casing(11) mounted on the circumference of a bearing, plural stainless beads placed in the cylindrical casing, a coil supplying heat to the stainless beads, plural temperature sensors(16a,16b,16c,16d) mounted on the outer face of the cylindrical casing to sense temperature of oil supplied to the bearing, a controller(15) controlling the temperatures, and a switch unit(18) applying power to the coil with response to an operating signal of the controller. By controlling heat supply to the bearing oil, viscosity of the oil is regulated. Therefore, temperature of the bearing oil is kept uniform.
