PURPOSE: A method and system for reporting emergency using a communication network are provided to notify the emergency only to a desired user, and to prevent the leakage of personal information. CONSTITUTION: If a user(30) accesses to a web server(60) of an emergency reporting service provider(20) to input information related to emergency, the provider(20) constructs a DB(70) for storing the input information. Then, the user(30) accesses to the web server(60) of the service provider(20) through a network(10) so as to report the emergency to receivers(40), and reports the emergency to the service provider(20). The service provider(20) receives the emergency of the user(30), and reports the emergency to the receivers(40).
