PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine for a motorcycle having a crank casing 2, at least one cylinder and cylinder heads 4, 6, a crankshaft installed within the crank casing in which a cam shaft installed within the cylinder heads 4, 6 through the crankshaft is driven or controlled, and cylinder head covers 8, 10 closing the cylinder heads on the end sides. SOLUTION: The cylinder head covers 8, 10 are assembled with many members so as to be capable of easily mounting or dismounting in an assembled state in the internal combustion engine.
