PURPOSE: A home automation system having a camera is provided to allow a user to control the direction of a monitor camera set at a door by using buttons of a door phone. CONSTITUTION: A home automation system having a camera includes a photographing means(10), and a photographing controller(20). The photographing means takes a photograph of a visitor and transmits a video signal of the visitor according to varying photographing directions. The photographing controller is connected with the photographing means and changes the photographing direction of the photographing means to display the video signal of the visitor. The photographing means is constructed of a camera(11) for taking a photograph of a visitor, and a driver(12) for driving the camera to change the photographing direction.
