<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a software which simplifies data input of students preparing themselves for entrance examinations by collecting data (schools of their choice, their records, etc.), of students preparing themselves for entrance examinations to a single center (EIS = educational information service) from private cramming schools or by themselves via the Internet. SOLUTION: Characteristics of the Internet are used to construct new information for entrance examinations. Data on students preparing themselves for entrance examinations are collected to the educational information service(EIS) over the network in the unit of private cramming schools or individually. Collected data is classified by schools of their choice by the EIS, so that each student preparing himself for entrance examinations can find ranking of his record for the school of his choice. A system is not constructed to grasp the conventional objective information for entrance examinations but is rather the actual tendency of students preparing themselves for entrance examinations. Thus they can easily select schools, for which they will take the entrance examinations and find the ratio of students to be admitted to total examinees and ranking of their records to dissipate their anxiety, and the loads on them are reduced and they can devote themselves to study for the entrance examinations.</p> |
