The invention relates to a device for use as emergency illumination and that is configured with a view to being able to tolerate high ambient temperatures while maintaining the illumination functionality. This is realised by a system comprising a first light source; a second light source that is capable of resisting higher temperatures than the first light source; a temperature measurement device and a control system that will, when a predetermined temperature is exceeded, be capable of switching between a first operating state, wherein the first light source is switched on; and a second operating state, wherein the second light source is switched on. |
