PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment for treating an organic waste such as garbage and feces and urine by agitation, fermentation and decomposition, which is capable of (1) increasing a storage amount of the organic waste, (2) improving an efficiency of adjusting workings to eliminate stagnation or maldistribution of the organic waste to be agitated and (3) simplifying the deodorizing mechanism and performing the cost reduction thereof. SOLUTION: A waste disposal area 3 where the organic waste M is stored is open at one side as an opening part 3c for working while the other part is closed by a storing wall part 3a, and is used for carrying in or equalizing the organic waste. Thus, there is provided waste decomposition treatment equipment 1 which is capable of making an installed frame 10c largely spanned by supporting a light screw agitator 2 to the installed frame 10c on a running frame 10 spanning between an upper rail 9a on the storing wall part 3a and a lower rail 9b at the opening part 3c for working.
