PURPOSE: An auxiliary driving device of a bicycle is provided to improve safety by controlling a traveling speed and to supply electric energy sufficient to control a traveling speed. CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary driving device of a bicycle comprises two DC motors(40) having drive rollers removably installed in the wheels of a bicycle and for transmitting driving power to the wheels by driving the drive rollers in contact with the wheels, a pedal sensor(50) for detecting the operation of a pedal, a drive switch(60) installed in a specific portion of the handle of the bicycle, a battery(20) for supplying DC power to the components, and a controller(10) for controlling the driving of the DC motors depending on the operation of the drive switch. If a traveling speed is over a first speed or the pedal is suspended for a specific time, the motors are stopped by the controller.
