PURPOSE: A system and a method for payment by using a mobile communication terminal are provided to realize a convenient commercial transaction model by building a commercial transaction system without cash, to reduce the danger of procrastination by accomplishing the payment only when a bank account has the balance, and to activate a cyber bank. CONSTITUTION: A customer database for storing the mobile communication terminal number, the account password and the account number of a customer and a store database for storing the mobile communication terminal number of a store, the store number and the store account number. The mobile communication terminal(10) of a customer accesses a payment server(40) and requests the payment server to process payment by transmitting the store number, the amount of payment and the payment password. The payment server searches the customer database and the store database. The amount of payment is transferred to the store account from the customer account by the payment sever. The result of account transfer is informed to the customer. The result is displayed on the mobile communication terminals(10,20).
