EMULATOR MOUNTED IN MICRO COMPUTER DEVELOPING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An emulator mounted in a micro computer developing system is provided to support a high speed function of an MDS(MCU Development System) which is an MCU supporting system. CONSTITUTION: A trace data synchronization block(10) synchronizes trace data with a clock and generates a trace signal and a trigger signal. The first bit level match block(20) responds to the signals and generates a bit level match signal. A bit extension block(30) extends bits of the match signals. The second bit level match block(40) responds to the signals and generates a bit level match signal. An edge trigger sensing block(50) receives trace data, senses an edge being generated during one cycle of a clock, and generates one cycle match signal in a cycle of the next clock. A trigger source generating block(60) performs a logical operation of outputs of the bit extension block(30), the second bit level match block(40), and the edge trigger sensing block(50), and generates trigger source signals. A trigger combination block(70) generates a timer signal and a trigger signal from the trigger source signals.
